The french Riviera Chamber of Commerce has 5 basic missions:

Mission 1:

To listen, to represent and to inform companies

A Chamber of Commerce that generates creative ideas and speaks for
business

Economic and real estate observatories

Urban and regional planning for infrastructure
development and store sitings

Partnerships with competitive clusters

Compilation and circulation of economic intelligence reports for business

Mission 2:

To follow companies and to lead commercial and industrial business

Business start-ups and hand-overs, innovation, business development

International business and trade missions

Specific programs to support industry, tourism, innovation,
commercial development

Formalities and support for company start-ups and hand-overs

Training programs for SMEs and commerce

Economic clusters (tourism, industry, yachting, film)

Interactive e-communities information sharing website

Mission 3:

To increase activities in Alpes Maritime

Action and advice to provide the French Riviera with an environment favorable
to business and employment

Chamber of commerce elected as representative relay

Partnerships and lobbying with key local and regional authorities
and major companies

Mission 4:

Training for companies and employments

7,700 pupils and students attending establishments run by the CCI:

Training for the automotive and aeronautics industries, pharmacy
and health, international school (1,450 apprentices and pupils)

Higher education subsidiary :
SKEMA Business School (Grande Ecole and a range of Bachelors,
Masters, PhD and MBA programmes)
( 6,200 students) 6 campuses: 3 in France (Sophia
Antipolis, Lille, Paris), 1 in China, 1 in
Morocco, 1 in the USA

Ongoing training for 4,200 executives and managers with Skem

Mission 5:

To handle facilities

Manage infrastructure
- 4 harbours: Cannes, Golfe-Juan, Nice and Villefranche, top cruise hub in France
- 896,000 passengers/year to Corsica,
- 745,000 cruise passengers with some 500 ports of call
- 826,000 overnight yacht moorings
- 272,300 metric tons of freight

Shareholder in Société des Aéroports de la Côte d'Azur:
- Nice Côte d’Azur: 2nd busiest airport in France serving 10 million passengers/year,
59% on international flights
- direct flights to 100 destinations
- over 4,000 direct jobs
- Cannes-Mandelieu: 2nd busiest
business airport in France
